It was traveller and tour guide Pavel Vrbík, former mechanical engineer, who came up with the idea of organizing a scooter version of cycle tours. „Scooter riding unites in itself 4 sports, namely running, cross-country skiing, cycling and mountain climbing,” Pavel explains his enthusiasm and adds the following: “It was a few years ago that I found the Yedoo Mezeq scooter in a shop and I found it absolutely amazing. Fascinated by the wonderful movement, I was riding the scooter on the test track until the closing time.“ Since then Pavel (called Pavlík) and his scooter have become inseparable, and since he wanted to share his enthusiasm with others, he made a big effort to organize the scooter tours within the Alpina travel agency.

 “It is a combined tour intended for cyclists as well as for scooter riders. Each group is going to have its own tour guide and will have at least two options to choose between as far as physical demands of the routes are concerned. Relaxed cycling fans, performance riders, families with children, as well as partners with different level of physical fitness will enjoy themselves,” specifies Josef Sedláček, who knows the Austrian cycle routes like the back of his hand and who is going to take care of the cyclists during the conducted tours.

Those who do not own a scooter may borrow one in the Yedoo rental shop per only CZK 500 for the entire duration of the tour and, similarly as tour guide Pavlík Vrbík, undertake the expedition on the Yedoo Mezeq scooter.
