Scooters for Kids / Yedoo Kids
Mau
“Sloow!” The first ride on their own. No one can stop them now. Our lightest, smallest model is the ideal choice for entering the world of scooters. When we design a scooter for preschoolers and school-age children, the most important specs are low weight, the right footboard height for an easy, fun ride, and of course safety (nonslip footboard, handles with reinforced ends, reflectors on the wheels and frame). There have to be the right wheels with quality ball bearings and properly inflated tyres. And a good rear wheel brake! Although for some reason, we’re not sure why, our test drivers rarely use it...

ČSN EN 14619
ČSN EN 14619
The regulation determines safety and functional requirements for wheel sport equipment particularly scooters aimed for users between 35kg and 100kg. The regulation examines riding properties, strength of construction, safety fixing components, shelf life and correct functionality of individual components such as brakes, bearings, rims, cases, pedals, etc. The regulation also introduces guidelines for preparation of user´s manuals, installation and treatment of these products.
ČSN EN 71-3ČSN EN 71-3
The regulation ČSN EN 71-3 considers the safety of toys designated for children under the age of 14. It focuses on the migration of elements – in other words, it is testing if dangerous elements such as antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, selenium and esters of phtalate acid, so called phthalates, used as softeners in plastics production, do not enter the child´s body by direct contact with their skin, perspiration or saliva. The objects of investigation are primarily rim and frame paints, handles of handlebars, the surface of the seat and pedals, etc. The update of this norm from 2013 extends the number of observed elements and adjusts its limit values considering new scientific findings and technological development of toys in production and manufacture.

Technical and construction features
Originally designed frame
The unique dual-tube construction has enabled us to make the scooter frame as light as possible and to shorten it so that the scooters would be easy for children to handle, carry and park.
Special reinforcement
The originally designed reinforcement with the shape of the initial increases the strength of the frame and ensures optimum solidity of the scooter.
Adjustable handlebars with reflective cover
The shape and size of the handlebar are adjusted to the age of the riders.
Reflective elements on the handlebar cover ensure that no one fails to see the children.
Widened and reinforced grips in Yedoo design and Tektro brake levers
The grips adjusted for size fit well into kids' hands, the reinforced and widened ends protect the kids' hands when riding and in case of a fall.
The junior brake levers are easy to handle, they are short-reach, operate smoothly and their distance from the handlebar is adjustable.
Yedoo footboard
The spacious footboard provides enough space for a comfortable ride. The anti-slip surface of the deck contributes to a safe ride even in more demanding terrain and weather conditions, such as wet ground, leaves, mud.
Folding stand
The stand, which is fully integrated into the construction of the frame, ensures stable parking of the scooter. Another piece of good news is that when folded, it has only minimum impact on the scooter passing through the terrain.
Tektro Alloy brakes and alloy rim
Quality brakes are the basis of the general safety of the scooter. They are complemented by kids' short-reach brake levers, which are easy to handle and contribute to even greater safety.
Quality aluminium rims, which are light, firm and durable, enhance the safety of the ride.
Dual position rear fork
The dual-position rear fork will enable setting up the ride height of the footboard for road and off-road.
