Even from the name of the guest house in Slavonice, U koloběžky (At the Scooter), you can already tell that its owner, Jarda Šmíd, has succumbed to the charm of scootering. He has crisscrossed the picturesque landscape around Slavonice, which he calls paradise, many times and now he rents out scooters, so others could enter this paradise as well.

“A thing you must experience, though, is a ride on the ghosts' railway - an abandoned single-track railroad track from the times of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, which has recently been transformed into a bike trail. It is best to set out on the track between Slavonice and the Austrian town of Waldkirchen on the Yedoo Mezeq scooter. At the guest house U koloběžky, they have ten of them and you can rent one for CZK 360 for a day. But mind the sum of deposit, which is CZK 3,000.
